Triennial Councils
The Phi Beta Kappa Society is governed by a Triennial Council, attended by delegates from each chapter. The next Triennial Council will be held October, 2015.
Phi Beta Kappa Associations
Once you have joined Phi Beta Kappa, you are eligible to join a Phi Beta Kappa Chapter or Association. A Chapter must be hosted by a university, but an Association may be formed by any like-minded group of Phi Beta Kappa keyholders. Phi Beta Kappa Associations sponsor social and networking events, and bestow awards on outstanding students and organizations. Associations in Illinois and neighboring states include:
